Why We Care

When I was little, there was a tree outside my preschool that I would hug every time I left as a goodbye. Looking back, it was probably my first real connection to nature that I can remember. That memory is part of why these environmental changes matter to me. I see more and more trees being cut down in Alabama for a lot of different reasons. But what I’m worried about the most is what is going to replace them and how will that affect us?
